About 9jaRealtor

A trust-first real estate marketplace built for the Nigerian market.

What we do

Buyers and sellers transact through escrow instead of paying cash to a stranger directly. When a buyer pays for a property, the money is held by 9jaRealtor — not sent straight to the seller — and only released once the buyer confirms the deal went as agreed. Every seller and agent is verified before they can list, every listing's ownership documents are reviewed, and the platform takes a transparent fee on every escrowed transaction rather than hiding costs until the end.

Who 9jaRealtor is for

  • Buyers — browse verified listings, book inspections before paying, and pay into escrow with the deal protected until confirmed.
  • Sellers and property owners — list property after identity and ownership verification, and receive payouts once a sale completes.
  • Agents — list on behalf of owners and earn a commission automatically split out at release.
  • Affiliates — anyone can share a personal referral link and earn a commission when someone they referred completes a transaction, without needing to list or own property.

How we make money

9jaRealtor charges a 1% escrow protection fee, added on top of the price and paid by the buyer at payment — kept by 9jaRealtor in full. Separately, 9jaRealtor reserves 5% of the listing price itself at release, so sellers receive 95%. Agents earn a 2% commission on sales they list, carved out of that 5% platform reserve rather than deducted from the seller's payout. Affiliates earn 0.5% on transactions they refer, also carved out of the platform's reserve — it costs the buyer nothing extra and never reduces what the seller or agent receives. See how escrow works for the full transaction lifecycle.

Who runs 9jaRealtor

9jaRealtor is operated by Bulltrock Groups. Payments and escrow route through CBN-licensed providers rather than 9jaRealtor holding a financial license itself — see our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for the full detail.
